Chanel Lynette White
Ms. White relocated from Detroit, Michigan to Tallahassee, Florida in 1999 to attend Florida A & M University. Ms. White received a Bachelor of Science in Theatre and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish the following year, graduating Summa Cum Laude both times. While there, she was an active member of Sigma Alpha Iota International Music Fraternity. She also spent a semester abroad at Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, to increase her fluency in Spanish.
Ms. White began her career in Tallahassee where she worked at the Florida Office of Public Counsel in the State Legislature as Director of Telecommunications Programs, as well as a correspondent on WCTV Eyewitness News.
In 2008, she began law school at Northwestern University School of Law in Chicago. Graduating on the Dean’s List in 2011, Ms. White became a member of the Illinois Bar Association. During law school, she interned for the Chicago Transit Authority and the Illinois Commerce Commission.
In 2011, Ms. White joined The Alliance Law Group (formerly Terry & Moore, P.C.) in Chicago as an associate attorney practicing in the areas of real estate, landlord/tenant law, foreclosure defense, commercial litigation and family law.
As a member of the Florida Bar, Ms. White relocated to South Florida in 2013 and joined Rajtar and Associates, P.A. She is a member of the Broward County Bar Association and South Broward Bar Association. Ms. White will be concentrating her practice in the firm’s areas of foreclosure defense, condominium and homeowner association law, commercial and real estate litigation, landlord/tenant law and collections.
